WRITING LESSON 22: AN ARTICLE My visit to the Zoo I was at the zoo a week ago with my friend Arsenios.There were calm and with animals at the zoo.There were big elephants,giraffes,tigers and lions.Wild animals were crocodiles,long snakes and ostriches,but I wasn't scared.I fed some calm animals, like zebras with wild greens,and parrots with peanuts. aspro_chorio (www.googleimages.gr) In my village, there is a big church in the square.  There's a carpenter's , but there isn't a bank and a post office.  There are two wine breweries, but, there isnt'a  museum or a library. There are two car garages and in our square we do festivities.The supermarket and the bookshop are in the next village.We've got a ceramics shop nearby and we've got a lot of flowers in the fields,so,we don't need a florist's.

Tiger have got orange-black fur.They've got pointed ears,whiskers and long legs that can make them run fast and a long tail. What  do they do? They rest in the grass during the day.  When they get hungry, they hunt for meat  in animals smaller than them and weak. What do they eat? They eat meat. Why are they endangered? Because people are destroying their habitat.People also hunt them for their fur.

    On Saturday, I get up at 10:30 p.m. I do my homework first and then, I play games with my friends outside. I have lunch at 2 o'clock. After lunch,I play with my sister.           In the evening,I eat dinner at 8 o'clock and I watch TV. I go to bed at 10:30 p.m.
